My story

I've been on a journey of profound personal growth. I used to be driven by fear, insecurity, being overly sensitive, needing approval from others and was stuck in my limited worldview. That was not a recipe for a fulfilled and inspired life.

I was only seven years old when I compiled my first list of the 'things I need to work on in myself'. I knew, more through instinct than intellectual understanding, that I didn't quite fit in with the other kids. I mistakenly thought that if I wanted to be liked, I needed to be more like them. I didn't have the guidance I needed to tell me it was OK to be me, to be different. No one told me that there would always be times I'd feel like an outsider, and that's going to be uncomfortable, but it's OK. So, my negative beliefs shaped my younger years.

Like many, I was an anxious 'high achiever' in early adulthood, pursuing success in business, relationships, financial stability and constantly looking or next ‘thing’ to make me happy. In one way or another, this constant drive stemmed from my fear of not being good enough, of not being OK with myself at a deeper level.

In searching for answers, over the last 20 years, I’ve immersed myself in knowledge and practices to expand my whole being - mind, body and business. I've studied Indian philosophy, practiced yoga and went on to become a Yoga Teacher. I studied psychology, human behaviour, breathwork and qualified with a Post Graduate Diploma in Contemporary Psychotherapy. I've also experienced numerous types of therapy, been coached, and have read countless books and articles. Since my mid-forties, I’ve had a strong focus to health and fitness. I loved it so much, I even studied and qualified as a Strength & Conditioning Trainer to add to my systemic understanding of human performance.

This journey of discovery has given me priceless understanding, insight, and tools for me and those I work with. The greatest lesson I've learned is that courage, self-awareness, and self-acceptance lead to those most exquisite elements of human experience: freedom and peace.

I can still clearly picture the memory of my little handwritten list, and it serves as a lesson that I now share with others: once you remove the fears and blocks, you can feel OK to be fully, unapologetically, and authentically YOU!

And it's totally possible to change your life and achieve that just like I have. I've developed my unique philosophy of mind, mood, and movement specifically to help get you there.
